Without realising it, the owner of the donkey played a key role in this event, offering a small gift that made it possible. We face the same challenge - what is the "donkey", the small offering, that we can make to enable God's plan to be fulfilled?

Revd Graham Coldman looks at the place of the transfiguration, a mountain top where Peter, James & John, saw Jesus talking with Moses & Elijah. A voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”. We are encouraged to find, cultivate and maintain our mountain top, that place where we meet with Jesus, the place where we hear His voice, and to listen to Him.

Revd Graham Coldman discusses how Jesus took his disciples on a "city break" a trip to an unfamiliar and strange place, Caesarea Philippi. He asked them “Who do you say I am?” If Jesus asked you that same question, would you be able to reply “you are the Christ, the son of the living God”? Jesus gave Peter authority over what could be bound and loosed on earth and in heaven. This authority resulted in Peter wrestling with God on several issues. Reflect on what that might mean for us today.

Revd Jonathan Edwards discusses Christian Hope, how this Hope is for everyone, not just a select few, for everyone, the "world". Our hope is definite (it is certain, assured) dynamic (requires us to put our hope into practice) and has direction (calls us to move forwards with God in his service).
