Every Friday lunch time Caversham Baptist Church opens it's doors to the community, for lunch. Come along between 12.15 and 1.30 for a fantastic three course lunch which won't break the bank, and have an opportunity to meet your friends or to make new ones in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You will find our menu has a lot to offer and our friendly team of servers will always be there to take your order, or if you want to just be a listening ear. Time 4 U is a chance for you to take a little time for yourself in amongst your busy week. A chance to get a coffee, a biscuit and talk to friends. A fun-time group is provided for the children, so while you enjoy your coffee and a chance to relax your little ones have a chance to play in our well provided creche area. Come along to the Hymn Cafe, a chance to relax with your favourite hymns, some home made cake and a nice cup of tea. It's a chance to reminisce about the old times, meet old friends and make new ones, all while singing your favourite hymns. There will be an opportunity for you to choose your favourite hymn and to tell us why that hymn inspires you. A chance to hear what inspired the hymn writers and how these hymns have changed the lives of the people who live in Caversham. Hymn Cafe starts at 3.45pm and finishes at 5pm. So if you ...
